Governance

How VBC is governed.

VBC is incorporated as a North Carolina nonprofit and recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity under section 509(a)(2). The Board sets organizational strategy, approves the budget, and oversees compliance. Day-to-day operations are carried out by chapter leaders and volunteers.
